Terms & Conditions

These terms cover buying from Sertelle. They sit alongside your legal rights, they do not replace them.

Who you are buying from

Sertelle is a trading name of [COMPANY NAME], registered in England and Wales, company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office Foxwood, Surlingham, Norwich NR14 7GQ, United Kingdom. VAT number [VAT NUMBER].

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery within the UK is free and insured. Prices can change, but never after you have placed an order.

Lab-grown diamond and precious metal prices move with the market. Where we show a comparison price, it is stated on the page what that comparison is against.

Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract exists once we email to confirm the piece has entered production or dispatch — not when payment is taken. If we cannot fulfil an order we will tell you promptly and refund in full.

Made to order

Most of our pieces are made to your specification: your setting, your stone, your size. Production begins shortly after your order is confirmed, and this affects your cancellation rights — see Cancellations & Returns.

Hallmarking

Precious metal items above the statutory weight thresholds are hallmarked at the London Assay Office. Our dealer’s notice, explaining the approved hallmarks, is shown on every product page and reproduced on Lifetime Warranty.

If something is wrong

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a piece is faulty, tell us within 30 days for a full refund; after that we will repair or replace it. Fair wear and tear, accidental damage and loss are not faults.

Liability

We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price paid for the item.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
